ISLAMABAD: The Election Commiss
ion of Pakistan (ECP) has made clear the criteria for a legitimate vote and which will not be taken into account.
Only that ballot paper will be considered legitimate which has the signatures
of the presiding officer. Also, only the watermarked ballot paper will be considered when counting.
Also, it has been made clear that only the ballot pap
er with 9 columns is valid and for a vote to be considered legitimate the voter must very clearly mark the symbol
of their party and there
should be no other mark on the ballot paper.
