LAHORE: Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday directed Punjab environment secretary to submit explanation about non-implemen
tation of an order for regularisation of the department’s employees.
The court directed the secretary to submit his explanation until April 5.
The court issued the directives on a contempt of court petition moved by advocate Shazia Pervez and others against the environment secretary for allegedly defying the court’s order.
